Abbeleigh House

Abbeleigh House provides nursing or personal care for 38 people, including those living with dementia, in a purpose-built home across two floors with communal areas. People, relatives and care professionals reported that staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Care was personalised and tailored to individual needs, with staff demonstrating good knowledge of people and their relatives. People and relatives were meaningfully involved in assessing needs and planning care.

The service maintained a safe, clean and well-maintained environment with completed risk assessments and staff trained in safeguarding adults. The home's design and facilities were appropriate for residents' needs. Staff received regular support, supervision and training to deliver effective care. However, inspectors noted that activities provided did not always keep people sufficiently engaged.
