About Neave Crescent

Neave Crescent is a residential care home in Havering, providing personal care for people with learning and physical disabilities. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Neave Crescent provides personal care for up to ten people with learning and physical disabilities across two adjoining purpose-built bungalows. At the time of inspection, seven people were living at the service. Though larger than best practice recommendations, the provider arranged the service to ensure person-centred care, supporting residents to maximise their independence, choice, control and involvement in the community.

The building design fitted naturally into the residential area alongside other similar-sized homes, with deliberately no identifying signs, intercoms or cameras, helping to maintain a domestic feel and reduce any stigmatising features of institutional care.
