This service provides accommodation and personal care for up to 12 people with learning disabilities and autism. At inspection, 11 people were living there. Staff supported residents to understand COVID-19 and how to keep themselves safe, resulting in improved awareness of health risks.

The registered manager implemented government guidance on care home visits and purchased easily cleanable equipment for the visiting room. Staff encouraged one another on proper PPE use to reduce errors, and the manager acted as a COVID-19 outbreak buddy to other managers across Mencap services, sharing learning and good practice.
