The home accommodates up to five people requiring personal care and support for learning disabilities, with four residents at the time of inspection. Staff demonstrated strong infection control practices, with the registered manager maintaining COVID-19 records for all staff and visitors. The manager kept families regularly informed through phone calls and emails about infection control processes, and families visited frequently to take residents out into the community. Risk assessments were completed for community access with family members. Staff received training in proper Personal Protective Equipment procedures and COVID-19 infection control, and were observed correctly wearing PPE in line with government guidance throughout the home.
