York House

York House is a purpose-built care home providing personal care to 35 residents, including some living with dementia. The home is set in its own grounds with an enclosed garden. An inspection found one breach of regulations relating to medicine management, with medicines not always being safely managed. Despite this, people and their relatives spoke positively about the care provided. Staff were described as kind, caring and compassionate, and the home maintained a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Recruitment procedures were safe, and staff received proper induction and mandatory training.
