York House provides personal care and support for people with a range of needs. The CQC found the home was performing well overall, with people and relatives describing staff as caring and safe, and one relative calling the care "first class". Facilities were clean, well-maintained, and staffing levels, though queried by some staff, were assessed as meeting people's needs.

Some shortfalls were identified: medication and care plan records lacked detail, pressure ulcer prevention guidance was not always followed, and audits had not driven improvements. Support given to staff was not always documented. Inspectors rated the home Good overall, though leadership required improvement.
