People were engaged in varied activities tailored to their interests, including programmes to enhance skills and learning. Risk assessments were thorough and medication was managed safely. The service maintained safe recruitment practices with sufficient staffing levels available.

During the inspection, there was a COVID-19 outbreak at the service; the provider was following current infection prevention and control guidelines, though some staff needed reminders about wearing personal protective equipment appropriately. The home ensures appropriate measures are in place regarding people's movements and access to different areas, with evidence and feedback from residents, relatives and staff confirming this is managed appropriately.
