This purpose-built care home provides personal and nursing care to up to 78 people across three floors, with 55 residents at the time of inspection, some living with dementia. Residents and their relatives reported feeling safe, with staff demonstrating clear understanding of safeguarding procedures and confidence that concerns would be appropriately addressed. The home had strengthened infection prevention and control measures, with staff displaying strong knowledge of PPE protocols and correct usage. Competency assessments and compliance monitoring systems were in place.

Medicines were managed safely and risks were assessed and minimised throughout the service. Staff worked cohesively to support residents' needs and integrate newly appointed team members. Safe recruitment practices were followed. The home supported people to exercise maximum choice and control in their lives, with staff adopting least restrictive approaches in residents' best interests, underpinned by appropriate policies and systems.
