Woodways

Woodways is a residential care home supporting up to six younger adults, some living with a learning disability and/or autism. The CQC rated the service outstanding overall, having previously found governance concerns that inspectors confirmed have now been fully addressed. Medicines were safely managed and the environment was inclusive and tailored to individual needs.

Inspectors found a warm, homely service with a dedicated staff team who knew people extremely well. Care plans were person centred, leadership was exceptionally strong, and some people had moved from more secure settings into freer community life. People and relatives described staff as kind, respectful and attentive to individual wishes.
