Woodview Care Centre

Woodview Care Centre in Lincolnshire is a nursing home for older adults, younger adults, people living with dementia, people with physical disabilities and mental health conditions, and some people with a learning disability. The home was previously in Special Measures, but the CQC found significant improvement and it is now rated Good overall, no longer inadequate in any area. Inspectors found staff kind and compassionate, safeguarding and staffing practices much improved, and nutrition and health needs well met.

Some weaknesses remained. Care plans did not always use person-centred language or set out clear guidance on emotional support, and infection control, care planning and medicines monitoring needed further work. Leadership was rated Requires Improvement, as feedback from residents and families was not always followed up to show what had changed.
