Woodlands Park Care Centre

Woodlands Park Care Centre is a care home providing support to older people living with dementia. Following a responsive assessment prompted by external feedback, the CQC rated the service as Requires Improvement overall.

Inspectors found breaches relating to safeguarding, governance and reporting of incidents. People were not always protected from potential abuse, and systems for reviewing concerns and learning from incidents were not always effective. Positively, people received their medicines safely, clinical risks were assessed, and staff followed good infection control practice.

People and relatives said they felt safe, though some felt more opportunities for outdoor activity would help.
