Woodland Hall

Woodland Hall is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to 72 people, including older people, those living with dementia, and people on reablement programmes. The service operates across five units over two floors. Staff were observed asking for consent before undertaking activities, and people were supported to have maximum choice and control of their lives in the least restrictive way possible. Systems were in place to keep people safe, with environment and individual risks assessed, incidents and accidents investigated, and lessons learnt from reviews. Medicine management was safe, and admission assessments were undertaken with involvement from relevant professionals. People told inspectors they felt safe, and staff were recruited safely with sufficient staffing on duty.
