Woodland Hall

Woodland Hall is a care home providing nursing and personal care for up to 72 older people, with 68 people living there at the time of the assessment. The CQC rated the service good overall, finding it well maintained, clean and safe, with enough well-trained staff who knew people’s needs and preferences.

Inspectors found governance systems robust and staff worked well with other professionals to meet healthcare needs, though some improvements were needed to medicines management. People and relatives spoke positively, describing staff as kind, respectful and professional. Staff were observed to be patient and attentive, offering people choice and involving them in a range of activities.
