Woodham House Stanstead

Woodham House Stanstead provides care and support for up to six people with mental health needs, learning disabilities and autistic people. At the time of inspection, all six places were occupied. Staff manage risks to people's health and wellbeing effectively, with people included in risk management processes. Medicine management is safe, infection control processes are adequate, and staffing levels are sufficient to meet people's safety and health needs.

Staff understand and respect people's cultural needs, supporting them according to their individual preferences. The service provides ongoing training to ensure staff have the skills required, though inspectors recommended additional positive behaviour support training. People reported being supported to achieve their goals while their cultural needs are upheld.
