Woodcock Dell Avenue provides accommodation and personal care for up to eight people with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder. At inspection, seven people were living at the home. The service demonstrated strong infection control practices, with all staff trained in COVID-19 prevention, hand washing, and use of personal protective equipment. Management regularly monitored staff compliance and provided additional training where needed. The provider completed comprehensive infection control audits and promptly addressed any identified shortfalls.

The home maintained adequate supplies of PPE including masks, gloves, and aprons, using a tracker system to monitor stock levels and prevent shortages. These arrangements ensured that people, staff, and visitors were protected from infection.
