Gencare Care Home

Gencare is a small care home registered to support up to five people with physical disabilities and sensory impairments, with three people living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the service good overall, an improvement on its previous requires improvement rating, finding that earlier concerns about risk assessments and governance had been resolved.

Inspectors found people and relatives spoke positively about the care provided, describing staff as kind and caring and saying they felt safe. Care plans reflected people's needs, staff were recruited safely and well trained, and quality monitoring systems were in place to support ongoing oversight.
