Whitelodge Care Home

Whitelodge Care Home accommodates up to 21 people in a residential setting with communal lounges, dining areas, and garden access. At inspection, 18 people were living there. All staff demonstrated understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities and supported people to take positive risks where appropriate. Individual risk assessments were in place with actions to mitigate identified risks. Staffing levels were adequate to provide safe care and support, with appropriate recruitment checks completed before staff commenced employment.

The home managed medicines well, with people receiving their prescriptions as directed. Staff received regular supervision and support to carry out their roles effectively. The service demonstrated effectiveness in meeting residents' care needs.
