Whitehouse Residential Home

Whitehouse Residential Home cares for up to 17 people aged 65 and over across two floors of one established building. At inspection, 14 residents were living there. Residents consistently expressed happiness with their care, with one person saying, "I'm really happy. I'm feeling great. The food is good, the girls [staff] are good and they look after me well." Staff demonstrated good knowledge of people's individual needs and possessed the right skills and experience to support them effectively.

The service maintained safe care practices with well-managed risks and learning systems following any accidents or incidents. Staff supported residents to have maximum choice and control in their lives, with policies reflecting least restrictive practices. The home had strong relationships with health and social care professionals, enabling effective management of healthcare needs. Residents were actively involved in menu planning and enjoyed food-related activities, contributing to their overall wellbeing.
