This residential care home accommodates five people with learning disabilities or autism and provides personal care tailored to their individual needs. Staff are committed to supporting residents to pursue their interests and activities, with particular focus on helping people regain confidence following disruptions caused by the pandemic. The registered manager fosters an environment where residents are encouraged to have maximum choice, control and independence in their daily lives.

The service works proactively with residents to plan support during periods of distress, using strategies that minimize any restrictions on their freedom. Staff support residents in making decisions following best practice approaches. The inspection identified opportunities to develop staff skills further in supporting residents' engagement in activities aligned with their individual needs and in promoting independence.
