Whitebourne

Whitebourne accommodates up to 66 people in a purpose-built building across two floors, each with their own communal areas. The service specialises in providing care to older people living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 52 people were residing at the home.

The provider had implemented robust infection control measures, with staff wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and receiving ongoing training in its correct use. The service maintained high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, with additional domestic staff allocated to each shift to enable continuous cleaning of high-touch areas such as door handles, hand rails and switches, alongside maintaining overall cleanliness throughout the home.
