White Lodge Care Home

White Lodge Care Home provides residential care and support to older adults, including people living with dementia and those with physical disabilities. The service accommodates up to 23 people across three floors, with each person having their own bedroom and access to shared communal areas including a dining room and lounge rooms.

Inspectors found that while people received their medicines appropriately, improvements were needed in medicine storage, checks and disposal. Risk assessments for personal care were satisfactory, though some premises and equipment assessments had lapsed. Staffing levels were not always sufficient to ensure people's safety and timely support, and infection prevention and control required improvement, particularly regarding personal protective equipment storage and cleaning procedures.
