Staff implemented comprehensive safety protocols including temperature checks for all visitors, hand sanitising stations, and disposable masks. A one-way system and two-metre demarcation lines ensured social distancing throughout the premises. Personal protective equipment was readily available in each resident's bedroom, and staff consistently wore appropriate PPE during personal care and face masks at all times. The home maintained good supplies of all necessary items and had conducted thorough risk assessments for staff, accounting for individual health conditions and recognised risks affecting people from black, Asian and other ethnic minority backgrounds.
