Westport Care Home

Westport Care Home is a purpose-built residential care home for older people with physical health needs and those living with dementia. It accommodates up to 43 people across four floors, with each resident having their own bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Communal lounges and dining rooms are available on three floors, and the home includes a visiting pod accessed via the garage entrance to facilitate safe visits.

The service maintains strong infection control practices. Safe visitor procedures are in place, including lateral flow device testing, temperature checks, vaccination verification, and appropriate personal protective equipment provision. Staff have access to ample PPE supplies at stations positioned throughout the premises, with clinical waste bins available for safe disposal. Management regularly monitors staff adherence to proper donning and doffing procedures and hand hygiene practices to ensure consistent infection control standards.
