Toby Lodge

Toby Lodge provides personal care for 10 male adults with forensic histories, including mental health conditions and/or learning disabilities. The home occupies one building across four floors, with each resident having their own bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Communal facilities include a living room, dining room, kitchen, quiet room, and access to a small courtyard.

The service cares for people requiring support due to their complex backgrounds and mental health needs. During inspection, concerns were raised regarding staffing levels and the overall culture within the service. Documentation from November 2021 indicated previous occasions where staffing fell below required levels, raising questions about the adequacy of care provision and the consistency of support available to residents.
