Westbridge House Rehabilitation Unit

Westbridge House Rehabilitation Unit accommodates up to 25 people requiring support with mental health issues and substance misuse, with 22 residents at the time of inspection. The service provides a safe environment where people are happy and well supported. Staff assess and manage risks appropriately while promoting independence, and support residents to self-medicate when suitable. Appropriate systems are in place to manage medicines safely.

Staff are well trained and receive good support to deliver kind, caring care that promotes positive relationships. The home respects people's diverse needs and supports them to have maximum choice and control of their lives using the least restrictive approach. Suitable numbers of appropriately recruited staff ensure residents receive effective support throughout the service.
