Options Applegate House

Applegate House provides accommodation and personalised support for up to six younger adults with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and complex needs. The service operates as an autism-specific transitional facility where residents develop life-long learning skills, including social and domestic abilities, alongside community and leisure facility access. The organisation's philosophy of "Fitting a service around you, not fitting you within a service" underpins its approach, with flexible staffing and personalised programmes enabling people to live as independently as possible. Staff embraced this philosophy and it drove their delivery of care throughout the service.
