The Willows

The Willows provides residential care for up to 39 people aged 65 and over, including those living with dementia. At inspection, nine people were resident at the service.

While some improvements had been made in oversight and quality assurance, the management team failed to ensure people were properly safeguarded. Concerns about allegations of abuse were not always acted upon appropriately, and the team did not consistently follow their own safeguarding policy to protect residents.

Infection control measures were not always promoted effectively to maintain a safe environment, with some areas of the service being odorous.
