Wellcroft House

Wellcroft House provides accommodation and personal care for up to six younger adults with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder, physical disability or sensory impairment. At the time of inspection, the home was at full capacity. The service delivers person-centred support designed to enable people to live meaningful lives with control, choice and independence.

Staff demonstrated good safeguarding awareness and knew how to escalate concerns appropriately. Relatives raised no concerns about how staff supported their family members. People received their medicines as prescribed, and staff used correct infection control procedures when providing assistance. Accidents and incidents were managed appropriately, with staff demonstrating awareness of potential risks when supporting residents.
