Twelve Trees Residential Care Home

Twelve Trees provides care and support for up to 34 older people, some living with dementia. During the inspection, the service demonstrated strong infection control practices, with staff trained in COVID-19 safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment. The home maintained adequate PPE supplies and had testing arrangements in place for both residents and staff. Most residents and staff had received their first vaccine dose. The registered manager proactively communicated with families about visiting restrictions and decisions affecting the home.

The service supported residents to maintain important connections with loved ones through telephone and video calls. Regular online relatives' meetings enabled families, including those living abroad, to stay involved in the home's activities and decision-making. External signage clearly communicated infection control measures to visitors.
