Turning Point - Hollygrove

Hollygrove is a care home for up to seven people with learning disabilities. At the time of inspection, five people were living at the home. Staff use various communication tools to help residents understand safety measures and restrictions. Technology is used to support people in maintaining relationships with family and friends both in the UK and abroad. The service has introduced several infection prevention measures, including screening visitors for COVID-19 and providing personal protective equipment.

Staff receive training on infection prevention and control, and competence is regularly assessed. The home maintains high cleanliness standards with frequent cleaning of touch points throughout. PPE is available to staff and used effectively. The provider offers wellbeing support to staff, and the registered manager noted that staff are committed to caring for each other. COVID-19 testing is carried out for both residents and staff in line with current guidance.
