Tunstall Hall Care Centre

Tunstall Hall Care Centre is a care home without nursing care accommodating up to 31 people across one main building and two separate bungalows. At inspection, 29 residents lived there, including some with dementia. The home features large communal areas on the ground floor such as a lounge, dining room and library, with bedrooms on the first and second floors accessible by lift. Extensive gardens surround the property.

However, inspectors identified significant safety concerns. Risks to residents were not consistently assessed, managed or monitored safely. Medicines were not always stored or administered securely, and medicine stock levels were not closely monitored, presenting potential dangers to residents' wellbeing and health.
