Trinity House in Stoke-on-Trent is a residential service supporting younger adults with a learning disability or autistic spectrum disorder. This inspection was prompted by a safeguarding concern, but inspectors found no evidence that people were at risk of harm. The CQC rated the service good overall, finding staff were safely recruited, skilled and available in sufficient numbers, and that medicines and infection control were well managed.

People and relatives spoke positively about the care, describing staff as caring, approachable and attentive to individual choices and independence. Care was personalised, planned with people and relatives, and supported by a consistent, well-trained team. Inspectors found a positive, person-centred culture with effective systems for monitoring quality and learning from mistakes.
