The Willows

The Willows is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 32 older and younger adults, some living with dementia. Around 23 people were living there at the time of the CQC's assessment. The overall rating remains requires improvement, with breaches found in governance and in safe care and treatment.

Inspectors found some equipment meant to reduce falls risk was unsuitable, and environmental risks were not always properly managed.

Staff were recruited safely and medicines were handled correctly. Feedback from people living there was mixed: some praised kind, good staff, while others waited too long for call bells or personal care, and privacy was not always respected. Some improvements, including more activities, had been made but needed to be sustained.
