The Stratford's Residential Home

The Stratfords Residential Home provides personal care to up to 12 people, supporting older people and those living with learning disabilities. At inspection, the home was at full capacity with 12 residents. Staff supported people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive approach and acting in residents' best interests. People were helped to access health and social care services, and staff managed medicines safely according to individual preferences. The home maintained an environment suited to each person's needs and preferences.

Staff communicated with people in ways that met their individual needs. They demonstrated understanding of how to protect residents from poor care and abuse, with training in place on recognising and reporting concerns. Staff supported people with their choices and independence while ensuring dignity and respect.
