Could the NHS fund The Queens Residential Care Home's fees?
NHS Continuing Healthcare could cover 100% of care costs with no means test.
The Queens Residential Care Home accommodates up to 46 older people, some living with dementia, with 38 residents at the time of inspection. Staff received training on recognising signs of abuse and knew how to report suspected abuse, ensuring people were protected from avoidable harm. Risks to residents were identified and managed through individualised plans designed to minimise potential incidents.
People received their medicines safely at the home. The service maintained its good rating, with inspectors finding continued evidence supporting this assessment and no indication of serious risks or concerns during the inspection.
