The Padova

The Padova is a care home providing personal care and support to people with a range of health and care needs. Following concerns raised about safeguarding, the CQC carried out a focused assessment and found the service remained rated Good, in line with its previous inspection. Records showed staff understood their responsibilities under the Mental Capacity Act, and risks were managed with reference to national guidance.

Inspectors found people felt safe and were treated with dignity and respect by staff who knew their individual needs well. A caring culture was observed, with kindness and compassion shown by staff and management. People said there were enough staff to support them, and choices and independence were maintained throughout.
