The Leys

The home provides accommodation and support for up to nine people with learning disabilities. At the time of inspection, all nine places were occupied. The service has been developed around values of choice, independence promotion and inclusion, enabling residents to live as ordinary a life as any citizen. Staff work to support people with learning disabilities and autism in accessing everyday community activities and maintaining meaningful relationships. Residents benefit from person-centred care planning that reflects their individual needs, preferences and goals. The home creates an environment where people are encouraged to make decisions about their daily lives and participate in activities that matter to them.
