About The Grange Nursing and Residential Home

The Grange Nursing and Residential Home is a nursing home in Derbyshire, providing nursing and personal care to older people, including those living with dementia. The findings below set out the Care Quality Commission's most recent assessment of the service.

The Grange Nursing and Residential Home accommodates up to 50 older people, including those living with dementia, in a single adapted building. At inspection, 19 residents were present, with nine receiving nursing care and ten receiving personal care.

People are protected from harm and abuse through the provider's staffing, risk management, and safeguarding arrangements. However, inspectors identified gaps in medicines safety that required remedial action. While management agreed to make improvements in this area, these changes had not yet been fully embedded into practice to ensure they would be sustained.
