The Good Companions (Cumbria) Limited

The Good Companions provides personal care for up to 39 older people, some with dementia-related needs. The service operates across three floors in a large, adapted building, with a dedicated lower ground floor unit for people with dementia that includes access to a sheltered, secure courtyard and gardens. At inspection, 31 people were using the service.

People and relatives consistently praised the caring, welcoming and warm atmosphere throughout the home. Residents described staff as kind, friendly and helpful, with relatives highlighting the positive environment the service provides.
