Little Acre Care Home

Little Acre Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 14 older adults, some living with dementia, with 12 people living there at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the home good overall, following concerns raised about staffing levels which were not fully substantiated. Risk assessments, care plans and medicines were managed safely, and people and relatives spoke positively about staff and the care provided.

Inspectors found some gaps in mental capacity assessments and Lasting Power of Attorney records, and the environment and fire equipment needed further work. Well-led remained rated as requires improvement, with the provider asked to strengthen oversight, including reviewing staffing rotas and on-call arrangements.
