The Gables Retirement Home

The Gables Retirement Home accommodates up to 35 older adults, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 23 people were using the service, which operates 24 bedrooms across the home.

Whilst residents and families reported feeling safe at the home, inspectors identified several safety concerns. Care plans and risk assessments were not consistently in place, leaving people inadequately protected from potential risks. Additionally, medicines were not always managed or stored safely, and cleanliness issues were noted throughout the home.
