The Daley Care Centre

Stocksbridge Neuro Rehabilitation Centre provides personal and nursing care for up to 24 people with brain injuries requiring rehabilitation. At the time of inspection, 12 people were using the service.

People, staff, and relatives reported that more staff were needed and that staff were rushed when completing tasks. The provider had not completed a dependency tool to determine appropriate staffing levels. While improvements were made in staff training and competencies, further development was needed to ensure staff completed all training relevant to their roles.

Risk assessments were in place for people and detailed how to keep them safe, though staff did not consistently implement these measures.
