The Cedars

The Cedar's is a nursing home providing personal and nursing care to 42 older adults, with capacity for up to 51 people. The service includes a dedicated unit for people living with dementia. Care provided is safe, with individual risks regularly assessed and updated. Safeguarding procedures are in place and followed, and medicines are managed safely.

The home seeks feedback from people and relatives to drive improvements. Staff feel supported and listened to, and a registered manager is in place who understands their responsibilities. However, some audits have not always been effective in identifying areas for improvement, and identified improvements have not always been completed.
