Templefields

Templefields is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to autistic people and people with learning disabilities. The service supports up to 14 people, with 11 residents at the time of inspection, living in either the main house or coach house. The registered manager maintained efficient systems for monitoring COVID testing and results, while staff supported people to continue their interests including arts and crafts and music. The management team explored ways to enable residents to maintain contact with relatives, building on previous outdoor visits arranged during summer months. Cleaning schedules were consistently implemented across the team, with high touch areas cleaned regularly throughout the day. Staff monitored residents' temperatures daily to help reduce transmission risks.
