Tallington Lodge Care Home

Tallington Lodge is a care home without nursing, supporting older and younger people, including those living with dementia or with a physical disability or sensory impairment. It is registered for 61 people and was supporting 55 at the time of assessment. The CQC rated the service Good overall, prompted by a safeguarding concern that inspectors found no evidence to support.

Inspectors found a safe, well-maintained environment, trained staff, and good understanding of the Mental Capacity Act. A minor medicines issue was resolved during the assessment. Relatives described an improving, family-feel service, with positive comments about food, activities and staff attitude, and said they felt listened to by management.
