Sylvan House Residential Home

Sylvan House accommodates up to 20 older people and younger adults, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 19 people were using the service. Staff provide personal care and support tailored to individual needs.

However, inspectors found ongoing concerns with risk management. Care plans contained inconsistent information and lacked sufficient detail in some cases, meaning staff did not always have clear guidance on how to support people safely and meet their needs effectively. Additionally, routine safety checks on the building and equipment were not being completed as required, leaving potential hazards unaddressed.
