Oxton Manor

Oxton Manor, in Wirral, is a residential care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 15 people with a learning disability and autistic people. The CQC rated the home Good overall, an improvement from the previous requires improvement rating. Inspectors found care plans were person-centred, medicines were managed safely, and staff were caring, attentive and respectful, supporting people to make choices and stay in touch with family and friends.

Some shortfalls remained around cleanliness and the consistency of safety and risk records. People told inspectors they felt safe and liked the staff, and the registered manager was found to be responsive to feedback and committed to further improvement.
