Sutton Valence Care Home

Sutton Valence Care Home supports up to 73 people with nursing and care needs, including those living with dementia, across three separate wings. At inspection, 63 people were using the service. Residents felt safe and looked after, with people describing the home as somewhere they "felt at home" and were "treated as part of a family." Staff recognised signs of abuse and knew how to report concerns appropriately, with the registered manager investigating issues and liaising with local authority safeguarding teams.

The home employs trained staff who were recruited safely and receive regular supervision to ensure effective care delivery. People's needs and associated risks are regularly reviewed and updated, with actions taken when changes are identified. An experienced chef and kitchen team cater to specialist dietary needs, and residents were complimentary about the food and drink provided.
