Ashley Gardens Care Centre

Ashley Gardens is a residential nursing home accommodating up to 89 people across three floors, providing personal and nursing care to older adults and younger adults with dementia, together with nursing support. The home is purpose-built with separate facilities on each floor including dining rooms, kitchen areas, and lounges. People have their own bedrooms and toilets. At inspection, 76 people were using the service.

Inspectors identified concerns that risks to people had not been fully mitigated since the previous inspection. Issues were noted regarding constipation management and the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies in place at the home.
