Sunnyfield is a residential care home in Wakefield, providing care across three houses for people with learning disabilities. The findings below set out what the CQC observed during its most recent inspection.

Sunnyfield provides residential care for up to 10 people with learning disabilities across three houses. At inspection, eight people were living at the service. The premises were clean, hygienic and tidy, with a daily cleaning routine where staff members shared responsibility for maintaining different areas.

Handwashing and hand sanitising points were available throughout the service and actively used by both staff and residents.

Staff demonstrated good infection control practices, wearing face masks and showing a clear understanding of personal protective equipment requirements.
