Stoneleigh House

Stoneleigh House is a care home providing residential care to older people, some living with dementia. The CQC found the service required improvement overall, following up on earlier enforcement action. Medicines were still not being managed safely, and the provider remained in breach of regulations around medicines and governance.

Some areas of the home were also found unclean, though the provider began addressing this after the inspection.

Inspectors found enough skilled staff, thorough recruitment, and good person-centred records. People and relatives gave largely positive feedback, describing staff as kind and caring, though some felt communication about how the home was run could be better.
