Relatives spoke positively about the care and support provided, expressing that their loved ones felt safe at the home. Staff recruitment was robust with sufficient staffing levels to care for people safely, and medicines were managed correctly with only minor record-keeping issues that were promptly addressed during inspection.

Infection control practices were in place and the home was generally clean, though the downstairs shower room flooring and fittings were in poor condition and difficult to clean. The provider agreed to refurbish this room within a specified timeframe. A new registered manager has recently taken post and works closely with the area manager.
